May ’24 Round up; 12Cilindri Launch, Cotswolds Esperienza and HR Owen Ferrari Hatfield

The month kicked off with the debut of the new 12Cilindri. Drawing inspiration from legendary models like the 250 GTO and Daytona, this future-focused model, boasting a naturally aspirated V12, captivated audiences at its official launch event in Miami.

We then turned our attention to the Roma Spider Esperienza in the Cotswolds, one of England’s finest areas of outstanding natural beauty. The two-day Esperienza was held at Ellenborough Park, a five-star country house hotel located just a stone's throw from Cheltenham Racecourse.

Across five consecutive events, we invited a selection of our clients to experience the timeless elegance of the Ferrari Roma Spider in the "Heart of England." The event featured two scenic road test-drives along with a guide through the Roma Spider Personalisation Deep Dive, exploring the extensive exterior and interior configurations and design choices available.

Taking advantage of the fine weather, the clients relished the opportunity to drive with the roof down, allowing them to fully appreciate the Roma Spider's performance and style. Combined with the excellent organisation by the Ferrari Esperienza team, each event was a resounding success and an unmissable occasion to immerse oneself in the Ferrari community.

To complete the experience guests took part in a truffle-making workshop, where they could immerse themselves in both decorating and tasting their creations, adding a sweet touch to their stay. Full access to the Hotel’s spa was also available, providing an opportunity to relax and rejuvenate before dinner.

The latter part of May saw HR Owen Hatfield became the focal point of several thrilling events. Of particular note was the HR Owen Supercar Meet on Sunday 19th May, welcoming clients and enthusiasts to engage with the brands situated at Hatfield.

The event provided a platform for all HR Owen brands to present their latest models, alongside the usual jaw-dropping display of supercars hosted within the showrooms. This was further enriched by an outstanding collection of customer vehicles that contributed to the day's excitement.

Numerous entertainment choices were also on offer throughout the day, including a live DJ, food and drink trucks, and racing simulators for those eager to showcase their virtual driving prowess. Meanwhile, in the Ferrari showroom, the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix was streamed live, featuring Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz demonstrating their skills in their iconic blood-red Scuderia Ferrari SF-24 Formula 1 cars.

As the month drew to a close, Ferrari Hatfield hosted our second pre-owned test-drive event, allowing clients to take a local test-drive in their preferred model. Prior to their drive, clients received guided tours of various Ferrari brand areas including Sales, Ferrari Financial Services, Genuine, Classiche, and Marketing & Events. Following a technical briefing on driver safety and an introduction to their highly-experienced driving instructor, clients embarked on their test drives. The route offered a blend of urban and rural settings, providing an ideal testing ground for the cars in real-world conditions.

May has been a superb start to the summer events season and enabled clients to deep dive further into the world of luxury, supercars and the Ferrari family.
